Join us for the first session of the TEPHINET Climate and Health Working Group's webinar series, "Field Epi Response to the Climate and Health Crisis". This monthly series will feature presentations from climate health experts and Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) residents and alumni who have worked on climate-related topics including heat related illness, hurricanes, floods, air pollution and more, and is aimed at sensitizing the FETP community to the different climate-related health impacts relevant to their work.
During this introductory session, attendees will hear from five experts about the climate-related health threats impacting their regions, and the role that FETPs can play in mitigating the effects of climate change on population health.
